A wander in Knavesmire woods 🍃
We originally planned a simple family walk, but with the summer heat kicking in, we looked for somewhere with a bit of shade - and Knavesmire woods couldn’t have been a better choice. The trees gave us a break from the sun and set the perfect scene for some relaxed, candid family photography.
This shoot is a lovely example of how natural a woodland session can feel. There are a few gently guided moments but most of the images are unposed - just real family connection, exploring together in a beautiful outdoor space.
Woodland settings are ideal for little ones… plenty of shade, room to roam and endless things to discover. That sense of freedom and wonder really comes through in these photos.
